Mufeed Said is licensed to practice law in both the Commonwealth of Virginia and the State of New York. He received his undergraduate degree in Richmond, Virginia with a major in criminal justice and a minor in psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. His post graduate education was completed when he received his law degree from the University of Richmond. In 1997 Mufeed started as a public defender in the City of Petersburg Virginia. His career as a prosecutor began in 2001 as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for the City of Richmond. After a very successful four years and many victories Said left his position as Senior Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney to enter private practice.
